Flooring - Screeds and Levelling 

Levelling is the process of fixing any high or low points of a plane before installing flooring overlayments. Successful levelling creates a smooth surface that has a good amount of strength and is resistant to indentation - which will keep floors looking flawless for years to come. Levelling plays a significant role in keeping an even floor, from residential, commercial and industrial applications to hospitals and aged care facilities where perfectly flat flooring is essential. 

Screeds are an important element of any construction project, providing the transition from concrete slab to the installation of flooring overlayments, as well as providing an integral element in waterproofing systems. Screeds can improve insulation properties and provide space-saving benefits compared to concrete. Screeds and even some levellers can be applied at depths to incorporate ducts for electrical cables, underfloor heating, and other appliances that need to go under flooring systems.
